The Kari Moulton Show

Meet Kari

I am a Technology Instructional Coach at Bourbonnais Elementary School District #53 in Bourbonnais IL. Prior to being a Technology Instructional Coach, teaching Technology, I taught Technology to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders for two years, 7th grade U.S. History for six years, and I spent seven years in the Kindergarten classroom. My love for technology started back when I was teaching Kindergarten. I was lucky enough to have my principal and assistant superintendent on my side to implement Mimio Interactive Boards in my kindergarten classroom as well as iPads. I have always been a supporter for technology in the classroom. The year I moved to 7th grade, my district implemented 1:1 Chromebooks in third through eighth grade.

Teaching with Chromebooks and incorporating technology in the classroom continued to grow inside me. I started sharing how to use technology in the classroom and my passion, as well as my nerdiness, grew! I have been lucky enough to teach others about technology in the classroom at Illinois Education and Technology Conference (IETC), IDEACon, Midwest EdTech Summit (formally Midwest Google Summit), Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), Every Student Succeeds Act Conference (ESSA) and Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA).
